If you want your photo to stand out, you need a strong subject. That tree in the distance? It’s beautiful, but it’s too far away to grab attention. Get closer, let it dominate the sky, and create a foreground that leads the viewer’s eye to the subject.

Let that afterglow of a clear sunset shine through your composition, and watch your photo come alive. Strong composition is the secret to making any image stand out.

Tip Two: Leverage the Power of Light
